Philip Foster

Mr. Philip Scott Foster, known as Phil to family and friends, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at his home in Hartwell surrounded by family.

He was born on October 22, 1956 in Greensboro, Ga. He was a self employed landscaper and loved to play golf. He was a member of Hartwell Golf Club and of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by; son, Jack Ellis Foster of Hartwell, Ga., sisters, Kathie (Eddie) McCurley and Sandy (John) Carlton all of Hartwell, Ga., nieces and nephews, Hank and Meg Carlton, Liza Dickson and Erin Burrell along with several great nieces and nephews as well as his former wife, Angie Foster, close friends, Wilson Yeast and Brooks "Buford" Page. and David Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Foster and Elaine Hunt Foster.

At Phil's request he was cremated and no service will be held. In his memory, please make memorials to the Hartwell Golf Club, 755 Golf Course Road, Hartwell, Ga., 30643 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621
