Raymond LeRoy Winesburg

Mr. Raymond LeRoy Winesburg, age 89, of Lightwood Rd., Hartwell, GA, passed from this life on April 28, 2022 at the Elbert Memorial Hospital.

He was born on January 21, 1933, in Chicago, IL, and was the son of the Late Raymond L. Winesburg Sr. and Susan Reed Winesburg. He had retires from the manufacturing industry were he worked at a plant manager. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Winesburg loved golf, fishing and coaching the sports that his children played. He was a proud US Navy Veteran having served in the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children Ray Winesburg, Steve Winesburg, Jeff Winesburg, Leslie Delgado, Mark Horach, and Laura Helsper; and many adored and loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

According to Mr. Winesburg's wishes he will be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel of the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson St., Hartwell, Ga 30643. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the celebration hour.

The family has chosen the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors/Lake Hartwell Cremation Center of Hartwell to arrange and conduct all services.
